king S mores In A Bag
Our Walking S’mores in a bag couldn’t be any easier to make; it takes prepared instant pudding, mini marshmallows, and chopped chocolate and piles them into portable packages of Teddy Grahams cookies.
Much like the camping classic, these s mores have a teddy “graham cracker” base, but instead of making sandwiches with melted chocolate and marshmallow in the middle, these are served inside small-size snack packages and eaten by the spoonful.
When it’s too cold (or hot) outside for open flames, there’s no reason to miss the campfire dessert – this smores in a bag recipe simply skips the stick (and the sticky fingers) and assembles the food inside a single serving snack pack.
Why We Love Walking S’mores
- Quick and easy to make in 10 minutes.
- Uses only 5 simple ingredients.
- Portable, individually portioned, handheld snacks.
- Perfect for pool parties, birthday parties, potlucks, backyard BBQ’s, tailgating, and summer picnics.

Walking S’mores Ingredients
- Instant chocolate pudding
- Milk
- Single serving Teddy Grahams
- Mini marshmallows
- Hershey bars
Substitutions and Additions
- Swap The Snack Bag: Instead of using teddy grahams, you can make your s’mores snacks with Golden Graham cereal bags, Annie Bunny Grahams, or animal crackers.
- Pick Your Pudding: Feel free to use your favorite chocolate pudding. Try chocolate fudge, Devil’s food, white chocolate, or you can even opt for vanilla.

How to Make Walking S’mores
- Prepare The Pudding: Stir together the pudding mix and milk for 3 minutes and let it set for 2 minutes.
- Assemble: Fill each cookie bag with pudding, marshmallows, and chopped chocolate.
- Serve: Serve with a spoon and enjoy!

Tips For Making Walking S’mores
- Make sure to fold over the edges of each bag after cutting off the tops to allow for easier eating.
- You can use chocolate chips instead of the chopped Hershey’s bar, I recommend finding the Hershey brand chocolate chips to give you the classic smores flavor.
- They are best eaten immediately to retain their cookie crunch.
How to Serve
To serve this or any other walking desserts for a party, place all of the snack packs on a platter or in a tub filled with ice and serve them with disposable plastic spoons, so there’s virtually no cleanup.
How to Store Walking S’mores
- To Store: Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to two days. Keep in mind that the teddy grahams will be very soft the longer they stay in the fridge.
