Adult film star Angela White has already reached a level most people in the industry never come close to. After years in adult entertainment, there are not many career milestones left for her to chase.The Australian performer, who often speaks about the stigma attached to being a porn star, made history by becoming the first person to win the AVN Female Performer of the Year award three years in a row.But there is still one dream the hall of famer has not managed to pull off yet: filming an adult scene in space, or at least in zero gravity.

“I’ve always wanted to have sex in zero gravity. Obviously, that is kind of an unrealistic dream, but that’s what dreams are for, right?” she said on Storytime with Kayla Jade in 2025.White seems serious about the idea of filming a free-floating X-rated scene, even though she knows it would be hard to make happen. She has already taken steps toward understanding what it might feel like, but she admits there would be plenty of problems to solve first.Her interest eventually led her to try a zero-gravity experience with Zero-G, a company that recreates the kind of weightless training used by astronauts.

“So I decided to do the zero-gravity experience,” she explained.

“I went on the same flights that they use to train NASA astronauts to get them ready for zero gravity.”“They do these parabolas where you get moments of actual weightlessness, and it was such an incredible experience.”White said the feeling of floating without gravity was unlike anything else she had experienced. It gave her a better idea of how stunning the scene could look, but also how hard it would be to control movement in that environment.

“The shot in zero gravity would be spectacular,” she said. “You can see on the videos that I posted that droplets just stay in perfect spherical little droplets.”
The visual side of it is clearly part of the appeal for White. In zero gravity, bodies, hair, and even tiny droplets move in a way people do not see on Earth, which would make the footage look very different from a normal adult scene.Still, the same things that would make the scene look unusual would also make it hard to film. Camera placement, body control, timing, and safety would all matter far more when everyone involved is floating around instead of staying still on a set.That is why White has not treated it like a simple fantasy. She has thought about how the scene might need to work in practice, and she already knows a regular setup would not be enough.

Why would filming a porn scene in zero gravity be so difficult?

White also admitted that filming a scene like this would come with several challenges. The biggest issue is that sex depends on physical contact and pressure, and zero gravity changes both of those things.

“I mean, realistically, it would be better to try just a regular boy girl scene first,” White said.

“Because it is going to be difficult to have sex in space or in zero gravity at least. Because every time a man thrusts into you, he’s going to kind of push you away.”

“So if we were to do it, we’d probably have to do it in some kind of harness to stay together.”“Well, this is another reason why it’s unrealistic,” White continued. “Because it’s actually more difficult to maintain an erection in zero gravity because the blood is rushing up. So, there’s a lot of things that make it more complicated.”

Science backs up the idea that maintaining an erection is trickier in space.

Dr John Millis, a physicist and astronomer at Anderson University, told BuzzFeed: “Male arousal would be more challenging in space, though it could still technically be possible.”Zero gravity could also make things uncomfortable for women, including when it comes to vaginal wetness and other body fluids.Millis said: “Fluid – like sweat and tears – will tend to pool at the location of secretion in the absence of gravity. This wouldn’t inhibit arousal necessarily, but I imagine it would be uncomfortable/unpleasant.”

Even with all those issues, White said she still enjoys thinking about the idea. She knows it may not be realistic, but that has not stopped her from keeping it on her list of dream projects.“Again, why it’s a little bit of an unrealistic dream,” she said. “But hey, I’m still reaching for the stars.”“The craziest thing is coming back into gravity, like Earth’s gravity, because you feel so heavy.”
