Famous Star Looks Totally Different After Transformation—Guess Who She Is!

At 64, Kathy Griffin recently stepped out at the Studio City Farmer’s Market in Los Angeles, where she showed off a noticeably refreshed appearance following her third facelift. Casually dressed in a retro Sonny & Cher tee, navy pants, and sneakers, the comedian was spotted enjoying ice cream with an unidentified friend. With her signature red hair tied back and oversized sunglasses covering her eyes, Griffin appeared relaxed under the California sun.

She later confirmed the cosmetic work on her Talk Your Head Off podcast, joking about her vanity. “It’s my third—I know, so vain!” she laughed. The procedures, performed by Dr. Ben Talei, included a facelift, blepharoplasty, a “foxy eye” lift, and chin refinements. Though she joked openly, Griffin admitted the recovery process was “disgusting” and far from glamorous.

Plastic surgery has long been part of Griffin’s public story. Starting with a nose job in 1986, she has since undergone a brow lift, chemical peels, breast implants, and liposuction—the latter nearly taking her life in 1999. She has also spoken candidly about battling painkiller addiction, which led to hospitalization in 2020.

Her health struggles didn’t stop there. In 2021, Griffin underwent surgery to remove half of her left lung while battling cancer. Despite the setback, she kept working and is now preparing to kick off her “New Face, New Tour” comedy run on November 8 in Las Vegas, a cheeky nod to her latest transformation.

The two-time Emmy winner, who also holds the Guinness World Record for most televised stand-up specials, has received positive feedback on her updated look. Melissa Rivers even praised Griffin, drawing comparisons to her late mother, Joan Rivers—Griffin’s mentor and a fellow outspoken voice on plastic surgery.

Through all of life’s highs and lows, Griffin continues to embrace her trademark honesty and sharp wit, turning even her cosmetic adventures into bold comedy.
