The Californian anthropologist made the decision to travel during nighttime hours in an effort to avoid being caught by security teams that patrol the area.During one of those nights on his week-long trek, Freeman saw something that completely stunned him and changed his perspective forever.While speaking to journalist and UFO enthusiast George Knapp, Freeman described an unforgettable scene—a doorway suddenly appeared in the sky. It glowed with blue light before shutting and vanishing without a trace.

Close to where Freeman made this surreal observation lies Papoose Lake, a dried-up lake bed located in Lincoln County.Some conspiracy theorists strongly believe this is where the government has hidden a secret site known as S-4, supposedly built to house alien spacecraft.Luckily, Freeman had a rare opportunity to see the place for himself. During his chat with Knapp, he recounted everything he experienced in vivid detail.

He said: “It looked like a dry lake bed to me, nothing else, but at night it was a different story.”

“I could clearly see what were security lights on the perimeters and I could see lights that opened and closed near the centre of the lake.”Freeman continued by saying he noticed vibrations that felt much like a small earthquake. He suggested that these might be a sign of something being tested underground at the facility.He added: “It’s something they’re testing either directly underground or I was feeling vibrations completely from Groom Lake, I don’t know.”

Coincidentally, around the same period that Freeman witnessed these strange events, attention began to build around the mysterious S-4 site. This interest was largely sparked by the claims of a man named Bob Lazar.Lazar claimed he once worked as a physicist for the government. He said his role involved attempting to reverse-engineer alien spacecraft and their advanced technology.According to Lazar, in the late 1980s, the government had already recovered several UFOs and was working on creating their own versions of the alien tech. He even appeared on national television to openly discuss what he knew about Area 51.
