Jamie Lee Curtis had a strong response when asked about rumors linking Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson. The three star in the reboot of The Naked Gun, but attention has shifted from the film to possible off-screen romance.
Speculation began after Neeson praised Anderson in interviews, calling her “gorgeous” with a “wonderful sense of silliness” and humanity. Anderson returned the compliments, saying Neeson brings out “the best in you” and describing working with him as “an absolute honour.”
A source told the press there may be a “budding romance” and that the two are “smitten.” Fans quickly assumed they were a couple, sparking online buzz.
Curtis addressed the rumors head-on, saying: “If love has found its way into that relationship, God bless them both. Leave them the f**k alone! Both have had hardship and are beautiful humans…it makes me cry.”
She also referenced Neeson’s past, noting the “unimaginable loss” of his wife, Natasha Richardson, in 2009, and his difficult journey since. Curtis said if they have “hard-launched” their relationship, people should simply wish them well.
The pair’s red carpet appearance fueled speculation they were making their relationship public. Neeson, who has been private about dating since Richardson’s death, once said he was “past all that.”
However, recent comments suggest Anderson may have changed his mind. Neeson admitted, “I’m madly in love with her. She’s terrific to work with…funny and so easy to work with.”
He even joked about their love scene in the film, saying it was so intense the intimacy coordinator left the set, declaring: “I can’t take this! This is too hot for me. I’m going for coffee.”
