Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently shared a video in honor of their daughter Princess Lilibet’s fourth birthday. The video shows the couple inside the labor room, before the little one’s arrival on June 4, 2021.

In the video, the couple can be seen dancing enthusiastically with her husband, Prince Harry to Starrkeisha’s song titled, The Baby Momma Dance.

However, what was meant to be seen as a heartwarming moment before their baby came, has been causing a lot of speculation among viewers who are not fully convinced about the legitimacy of Markle’s pregnancy.

In the post Meghan Markle made, she shared how both her children were a week past their due dates before they arrived, so the couple got creative to help induce labor. “Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates…” Meghan wrote in her post’s caption, she went on, “So when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work – there was only one thing left to do!” she went on.

The couple danced at California’s Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, where Meghan was due to give birth. However, the video further fueled rumors that the Duchess was faking her pregnancy.

“Even a blind person can see the poorly stuffed belly is fake,” one person commented about the video, while another added, “Belly moving everywhere is not a pregnancy belly at all.”

“She’s not pregnant,” another simply said.

“Why is it cringey? Fair play to them for being normal and not stuck up royals,” read another comment that did not understand the criticism.

“A heavily pregnant woman cannot move that way. You can barely walk, let alone twerk. There is nothing solid in there. The surrogacy theory just got another boost,” said another online critic.

However, some did not understand the criticism and decided to give their perspective. “Imagine being so salty about someone else’s pregnancy, y’all must be so bored with your own lives. This was a trend, have a look on TikTok, shes not the only one dancing round in the hospital,” one person pointed out.

There are many experts who say that dancing can possibly help reduce labor pain, shorten the time in labor, and improve the overall experience itself.

Those who were skeptical of her pregnant belly being the wrong ‘shape’ and ‘size,’ should know there is no ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to a pregnancy belly.

“Just as bodies vary in shape and size, the pregnant belly is different for each individual,” Dr. Charlsie Celestine said.

However, these doubts do not appear in a vacuum. There has been speculation about the couple having opted for surrogacy since 2019, when they welcomed their first child, Prince Archie.

The couple was supposed to give birth at Frogmore Cottage, but at the last minute changed it to Portland Hospital in London, which gave skeptics some more fuel.

Others who were suspicious pointed out how the couple waited two days before showing the child to the public while big brother Prince William and his wife, Princess Kate immediately showed their child to the public at the stairs of St. Mary’s Hospital.

“This scandal comes as no surprise. Speculation about the children has been simmering for years,” a high-level palace courtier said earlier.

“The kids are sixth and seventh in line to the throne but have been under cloak-and-dagger secrecy since they were born,” they went on.

“There are so many questions swirling around them. This crisis won’t die down until the irrefutable truth comes out,” they added.

Royal author Lady Colin Campbell claimed Meghan Markle “created a situation” that has led some people to believe her children were born via surrogacy.

“I think the whole thing stinks to high heaven,” she told the outlet. “…Clear it up once and for all. There should be no mystery as to who is legitimately in the line of succession.”

To add further to the doubt surrounding the birth of the Sussex’s children, Meghan’s estranged half-sister, Samantha Markle, made comments that shocked the public.

“If they used a surrogate, admit it,” she said to journalist Dan Wootton last year.

Samantha claims that Markle picked up her frozen eggs nine months before Archie was born.

“My father said nine months before Archie was allegedly born that [Meghan] picked up her frozen eggs. I thought: ‘That makes sense there would be a surrogate involved,’” Samantha said to Dan.

“But why the secrecy? Instead of lying to the world, just say: ‘We’re using a surrogate. But that would mean the child would be removed from the line of succession because an heir has to be born from a titled royal mother.”
