‘Ozempic Penis’ Explained As Study Finds Average Penis Size Has Grown Significantly

Experts are now looking into whether the popular drug Ozempic might be part of the reason why penis sizes in the UK are getting bigger.Between 2022 and 2024, the average penis length in the UK reportedly grew by 0.46 inches. That means the average size went from 5.17 inches to 5.63 inches in just two years.So, what exactly could be behind this unexpected growth?

According to a recent study, the UK now ranks eighth globally when it comes to penis size growth over that two-year stretch.And while the UK might not be doing too well in some other areas like wellbeing, where it ranks as the second-most miserable country—that’s probably a bigger issue than what’s going on down below.Interestingly, Venezuelan men showed the largest increase overall. Their average size jumped by a full 1.42 inches, reaching 6.67 inches, which put them at the top of the chart.

Which leads us to wonder—seriously, what has Venezuela been giving its men to eat since 2022? The results are genuinely surprising.On the other hand, Italian men experienced the biggest drop, with their average falling to just under five inches.Experts have started pointing to Ozempic, a medication originally used for type 2 diabetes but now also widely known for aiding weight loss, as a possible contributor to penis size increases in certain regions around the world.

Why does Ozempic affect penis size?

In a conversation with Diabetes.co.uk, Dr. Richard Viney explained: “Men’s penises shorten as they get older due to increasing body fat and increasing prostate size drawing the penis back into the body.”

He also mentioned: “It is theoretically possible new drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy, which are used to treat diabetes and obesity respectively and can cause people to lose weight, could also be a factor. As men lose weight, their penises appear larger.”

Still, it’s worth noting that from a medical perspective, and even in day-to-day life, penis size isn’t actually something that matters much.

Pharmacist Navin Khosla weighed in and said: “While the data is interesting, penis size doesn’t matter in a medical sense.”He also emphasized another point that often gets overlooked: “Just like how some people prefer different fashion styles, eye colors, or characteristics in a partner, some people are more attracted to larger penises or breasts, while others prefer smaller ones.”It’s also important to mention that the figures in this study came from multiple sources, and some of the data was self-reported. So, while interesting, the numbers should be taken with a bit of caution.

 

 

Back in 2013, research showed that only about one in three men said they were satisfied with their penis size.But science and real-life experience continue to show that when it comes to intimacy and relationships, size truly isn’t the thing that counts the most.
