Truckers: The kings of the road and comedy

You know, truck drivers really deserve some serious appreciation.

These everyday heroes of the highways are like the champions of the roads, skillfully maneuvering their huge trucks through long stretches of pavement, all while helping to keep our country’s economy moving forward.

When I was younger, I always thought those giant trucks were super cool. So, when I came across a funny story about a truck driver at a diner, I just had to share it. This tale perfectly shows the spirit of those who transport our stuff, reminding us that the journey can sometimes take unexpected turns.

One day, a truck driver pulled over at a diner to have some lunch. He ordered a cheeseburger, a cup of coffee, and a slice of apple pie.

Just as he was about to dig in, three big, hairy bikers came in.

The first biker snatched the trucker’s cheeseburger and took a huge bite out of it.

The second biker grabbed the trucker’s coffee and gulped it down in one go.

The third biker devoured the trucker’s apple pie.

The truck driver didn’t say a word or do anything while this happened.

When they were done, he simply paid the waitress and walked out.

The first biker said to the waitress, “He ain’t much of a man, is he?”

“He’s not much of a driver, either,” the waitress replied. “He’s just backed his 18-wheeler over three motorbikes.”

BONUS: FUNNY TRUCKER STORY #2

One day, a truck driver stops at a red light and sees a blonde woman in the car behind him.

She hops out of her car, rushes over to his truck, and knocks on the door. The truck driver rolls down the window, and the blonde introduces herself, saying, “Hi, I’m Julie! Just wanted to let you know that some of your load is falling off.”

The truck driver doesn’t respond, rolls the window back up, and drives off when the light turns green. A little later, he has to stop at another red light, and the blonde is still behind him. She jumps out again, runs up, and knocks on the door. The truck driver lowers the window once more.

Like they’ve never met, the blonde cheerfully says, “Hi, I’m Julie! Just thought you should know you’re losing some of your load!”

The truck driver shakes his head but doesn’t say anything. He rolls the window up again and drives off when the light changes.

At the third red light, the same thing happens again.

Finally, at the fourth red light, the truck driver decides to get out of his truck and walks back to the blonde’s car. He knocks on her window, and she lowers it.

The truck driver says, “Hi, I’m Steve. It’s winter in Canada, and I’m driving a salt truck!”
