Amber Heard has offered a small glimpse into the quiet, slower-paced life she has built for herself in Spain after deciding to start over there.The Aquaman actor left Hollywood behind for Madrid once the lengthy defamation trial with her ex-husband Johnny Depp had ended. During the case, Depp was awarded $15 million, which was later limited to $10.35 million, while Heard received $2 million in damages.The case dominated global headlines, and once it was resolved, Heard moved with her daughter from the United States to Mallorca. They later settled into a well-off Spanish neighborhood where many celebrities and football players also live.

 

 

According to El Diario de Mallorca, Heard even adopted the name Martha Jane Cannary while living on the island, which happens to be the real name of Calamity Jane.Since relocating, she has kept a much lower profile, stepping back from press attention. Her most recent on-screen appearance was a couple of years ago in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.However, she recently resurfaced with a set of photos showing moments from different Thanksgiving celebrations over the years, including candid shots of her cooking in the kitchen.

She wrote: “Thanksgiving cheers over the years. A look back at all the full hearts and plates I’ve shared . Hoping you are well topped up on both this year.”Heard still shares occasional glimpses of her daily life in Spain across her social media. Not long ago, she posted Halloween photos featuring her children dressed up while they went trick-or-treating.She also used her account earlier this year to announce the arrival of her twins, Agnes and Ocean, sharing the news as she marked Mother’s Day.

 

 

Beyond family life, Heard recently stepped back into acting when she joined the cast of a play titled Spirit of the People. She had hinted at this move earlier in the year, saying she was now ‘in my theatre era’.

 

 

The play ran for several nights in Massachusetts, and playwright Jeremy O. Harris noted that the production included scenes performed partly in Spanish. This would have been comfortable territory for Heard, as she speaks the language fluently.

A neighbor told the MailOnline that Heard and her family had ‘completely integrated into the community’, describing the area as a place where people respect each other’s privacy.

 

 

The same neighbor added that although paparazzi have gathered near her home, most locals leave her alone because ‘no one here really knows who she is’.They also pointed out that even high-profile footballers in the neighborhood tend to go unnoticed by many residents.
