A 27-year-old woman has revealed that she won’t kiss a man until her wedding day, explaining that even a simple kiss could lead to more physical intimacy.Elezha Hudson, from Texas, admitted she used to feel embarrassed about her lack of experience, but now she embraces her choice and is learning to speak proudly about her values.“I’m a virgin and I’m saving this for marriage too,” she told Kennedy News when asked about kissing before marriage.

Although Hudson is a Christian, she insists that her decision isn’t solely about her faith. She recognizes that many people within her religion have sex before marriage, but it’s not something she wants for herself.“At one point in high school, I did ask myself if I was scared of intimacy,” she admitted. “I think it’s more about being intimate with someone that doesn’t really like me and they took something from me that’s important. “The Houston native added that others are often confused by her stance, explaining: “When I speak to people my age or younger, they are usually shocked and sometimes a bit disturbed.”

Some men have even questioned whether she belongs to a cult, but Hudson says she brushes off those kinds of comments.“I don’t feel like I’m missing out,” she declared, adding that she believes her patience will be worthwhile once she finds the right partner.

Hudson still goes on dates, but she makes her expectations clear and ends things quickly if a man isn’t willing to accept her boundaries.“The conversation quickly goes to intimacy and they are normally taken aback when they hear that I’m 27 and a virgin,” she said about people’s reactions.“I get asked if there is something wrong with me or if I’m in a cult, but this doesn’t bother me,” she continued. “I have dated before and usually it’s not a surprise for them as we’ve had a conversation about it even before dating. When I meet the person, some have the same values and some don’t and then the relationship doesn’t continue further.”

As she approaches her 30s, Hudson says she isn’t about to let go of her beliefs and continues to hold onto the hope of finding lasting love.“On my wedding day, I’m excited to share a kiss with someone who wants commitment,” she said with excitement.“I’m more excited about being with a person that I have a real connection with rather than the kiss itself.”

Still, she admits she has accepted the possibility that she may never share her first kiss with anyone.“I’m comfortable with the idea that if it never happens [my first kiss or losing my virginity], I’m not missing out on anything,” she explained.“If a family is what I desire, I can adopt and have a family. I will just be a kissless person.”
